Azure Backup - Managing the backup-related alerts via the Azure Monitor

You can now manage backup-related alerts via the standard Azure Monitor experience for alert management. This integration ensures that you can leverage the alert management experience within the "Azure Monitor" as a single pane of glass for managing all alerts in your environment.

This also means that you can leverage Action Groups to send notifications to email, SMS, Azure app push notifications, and voice calls. You can also leverage Action Groups to take actions when an alert is triggered.

All you need to do is navigate to the Alerts section in the Monitor and you will be able to monitor and manage the alerts directly from this pane.

Currently, this feature is supported for the following workloads: Azure Databases for PostgreSQL server, Azure Blobs, and Azure Managed Disks. Support for other workloads will be added in the near future. Alerts are currently generated for security-related scenarios and job failure scenarios, with more enhancements planned in the short term.
